This website makes it easy to search for evensong choral music services across Britain and Ireland. Using just a place name or postcode one can find relevant information about cathedrals, churches, the type of choir, weekly service schedules, music lists, and contact details.

Many people love the music of choral evensong services. Evensong is arguably one of the glories of Britain, it is free of charge and open to all.

However, the average person on the street is unlikely to know about the tradition of choral evensong, so we present ideas for promoting it in this website’s blog.

We have also included Roman Catholic churches that do the service of Choral Vespers, because it was the precursor to Choral Evensong (as was Compline, another evening service that is promoted via this website).

We are fortunate to be sponsored by the Prayer Book Society, The Ouseley Church Music Trust, Hampstead Church Music Trust and several individual supporters, and supported by The Royal School of Church Music and The Friends of Cathedral Music Trust.
